Leading on advocacy efforts to have the Commonwealth take a leading role internationally in achieving SDG8.7 at the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in April 2018.
Including;
- Report on the situation in all 52 member states;
- Commonwealth film festival headlined by a film on trafficking;
- Convening Commonwealth8.7 group;
- Advocacy with member governments;
- Partnering with Freedom United on a public facing campaign calling for Commonwealth action;
- Working with Commonwealth Secretariat to deliver a side event on the Commonwealth and SDG8.7 on the sidelines of the Human Rights Council in September 2017.
