Modern Slavery & Human Traffickikng Specialist Advisor. Providing Consultancy Services to Public, Private & Third Sector organisations.
Experience, Background and Services:
Prior to my recent retirement from a management position within law enforcement in the UK after 33 years service, I was the police representative on a group sponsored by the Welsh Assembly Government to deliver policies, procedures and training in anti slavery and human trafficking matters. The group is in the vanguard of shaping services for and identifying potential slavery victims throughout the UK and beyond. I remain a part of the Group today.
I provide guidance and advice in investigative settings and perform an Expert Witness function when required to do so.
I am an experienced trainer/lecturer delivering presentations tailored to any requirement in various settings including law enforcement, other public and private sector organisations and Higher Education.
Both nationally and internationally I have advised on the establishment of multi-agency networks building on experience gained in Wales, UK generally and beyond with the aim of raising awareness and providing improved services in the identification and support of victims/survivors.
