Experience, Background and Services:
Dr. Jennifer Bossard, Associate Professor of Economics and Interim Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Doane University, began studying human trafficking in 2011. She focuses on the economics and business aspects of human trafficking and is currently developing several case studies that can be used in the classroom to teach students about economics and human trafficking. She also teaches a course on human trafficking as part of Doane’s General Education curriculum. Dr. Bossard serves on the Planning Committee for the International Conference on Human Trafficking and is on the Organizing Committee for the International Conference on Human Trafficking Research (ICHTR), which will be hosted at Creighton University in May of 2019.
