Experience, Background and Services:
As a consultant, I provide expert legal assessments, research, and advisory services on human trafficking and exploitation. With over 15 years of experience, I support solicitor firms, governments, international organisations, NGOs, and private sector actors with evidence-based insights, legal and policy analysis, and strategic recommendations.
I have rich experience providing expert opinions for UK courts on the applicability of Section 45 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (over 30 cases to date). In addition, I have worked on cases of victim identification and protection.
Specialist Areas of Work: Human trafficking and modern slavery; exploitation; criminal law; victim protection; reintegration; policy and legal analysis; ethical AI and technology in counter-trafficking; evaluation and research.
I hold a PhD in Law and have passed the Bar Vocational Course (UK).
