Chinese speaking, basic Japanese language skills, lived and worked 11 years in Asia.
Former Principal Consultant ERM, former Director Responsible Sourcing Nasdaq listed retailer working across Bangladesh, Cambodia, China. Former Senior Manager Corporate Responsibility Asia Burberry co-designing Burberry global Ethical Trade programme.
Clients for advisory on modern slavery risk management have included Private Equity, large banks, FTSE100 listed companies, and in apparel, retail, food, construction, etc.
Fellow UK anti-slavery charity Unseen. Trained by Verite in social audit.
Worked in Human Rights Watch on supply chain labour standards and inputting to OECD Guidelines; trained for the Ethical Trading Initiative, Principles for Responsible Investment, etc. Advised numerous firms on Modern Slavery statement writing and programme development. Advised on supply chain labour standards for The World Bank.
