I’m an English law qualified solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in advising businesses on commercial contracting arrangements, including cross-border supply contracts. I also have expertise in advising businesses on Modern Slavery Act compliance. Advice to businesses on Modern Slavery Act compliance includes supporting businesses to put in place appropriate supply chain due diligence processes, including Modern Slavery due diligence questionnaires and supporting businesses to assess responses from suppliers. I also support businesses to draft contractual compliance wording, Modern Slavery policies and Modern Slavery Act statements (as required by the Modern Slavery Act). In addition, I provide training to help businesses understand the requirements of the Modern Slavery Act, identify potential risk areas and put in place appropriate mitigation strategies.
