Director of Training Information for GREAT and Law Enforcement Officer; Working directly with individuals involved in human trafficking for 16 years
Experience, Background and Services:
Currently hold the title of Director of Training Information with the Global Resource Epicentre Against Human Trafficking, and have been working in law enforcement for 16 years. Additionally have assisted directly with community policing initiatives since 2006. I have extensive experience working with individuals involved in human trafficking, including victims, perpetrator, John’s and families, and have experience providing training to front line staff, law enforcement, health care staff, and high school students. Backed by a University Degree in Social Sciences, a Certification in Occupational Stress education, Early Field Traumatology, as well as membership with the Critical Incident and Stress Management Team, my experience spans a magnitude of topics and backgrounds with respect to human trafficking. I have been a guest speaking for a number of conferences speaking on the topics of human trafficking and mental health care for staff. I have experience working directly with victims, assisting with police investigations, and crisis management of human trafficking files. My training includes identification of human trafficking files, definitions, case management, investigations, and managing occupational stress injuries when dealing with HT victims and files.
