Experience, Background and Services:
Human trafficking, labour exploitation, and forced and early marriage technical specialist with over 15 years experience in 11 countries implementing victim/survivor support and protection programs and developing evidence-informed policy and programming. Experience in Australia, South East Asian, and the Kurdistan Region of Iraq in protection and service delivery, project management, capacity building, community engagement, research, policy and advocacy, and collaboration with governments, service providers, community organisations, UN agencies, aid programmes, and humanitarian and human rights organisations.
Recent roles:
SEED Foundation - Protection and Service Delivery Manager Anti-Trafficking in Persons Programs, Kurdistan Region of Iraq (current - 2 years);
Red Cross - National Senior Program Officer for Labour Migration; National Program Coordinator, and National Policy Officer for the Support for Trafficked People Program (the Australian government support program for victims of human trafficking, slavery and slavery-like practices, including forced marriage) (6 years).
