Lisa Davies is a Chartered and Consultant Forensic Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
Experience, Background and Services:
Lisa Davies has been a Chartered Forensic Psychologist since 2004 and gained Consultant Status in 2011. Ms. Davies works in full time private practice as a Chartered and Consultant Forensic Psychologist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council and British Psychological Society. Ms. Davies is qualified and experienced in the assessment of risk and psychological functioning. Ms. Davies has worked in High, Medium and Low Secure Psychiatric Services, HM Prison Service and Community Outpatient Services. Ms. Davies has a BSc in Cognitive Science, MSc in Forensic Psychology and has been an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society since 2007. Ms. Davies has over twenty years experience assessing victims of trauma and assessing offenders. Since 2006, Ms. Davies has regularly provided Expert Witness Reports to the Crown Court, Parole Board, Asylum and Immigration Tribunals. She has provided assessments of trauma and trafficking for over five years and receives referrals from legal representatives nationally across the UK, including drug trafficking, sexual exploitation and domestic servitude. Ms. Davies has experience of assessing psychological functioning and risk in a variety of offender populations and can undertake structured assessments of risk in violent and sexual offenders, as well as conducting assessments of arson, stalking, extremism, honour based violence and domestic violence. She can undertake assessments of neurodevelopment disorders (autism, ADHD), assessments of cognitive and memory functioning, suggestibility, compliance, malingering, suicide risk, trauma, trafficking indicators, PTSD, Complex PTSD, Psychopathy and Personality Disorder, providing psychological case formulations of the nexus between trauma, trafficking and offending.
