Description:
Offering comprehensive support services – safe housing, psychological, medical, legal and social assistance to women who are victims of trafficking.

Experience, Background and Services:
Project HOPE is the response of the Congregation of the Sisters Adorers to the problem of trafficking in women in Spain. Since 1999, we offer a comprehensive support program for women who are victims of human trafficking for the purposes of exploitation, primarily in sexual exploitation, but also in domestic service, servile marriages, forced labor or other forms of slavery.

The Project has a multidisciplinary team of professionals who consider trafficking-in-persons to be a violation of human rights. The team consists of lawyers, educators, social workers, intercultural mediators, psychologists, etc. Project HOPE collaborates very closely with other organizations within the framework of the Spanish Network against Human Trafficking and the Global Alliance against Traffic in Women (GAATW).
